"Very nice stay, charming Chalet"

Location was perfect for us and was very easy to check in late. The grounds and room were super cute. Very spacious room as well!

The bed was very stiff for us and bothered our backs.

I have stayed at the Chalet Kilauea several times and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the whimsical and marble “Fred Flintstone” countertops and the AMAZING STONE SHOWER!!

The room was very warm and I believe this was an unusually warm day in Volcano~ . Upon checking out, I let the hosts know about this warm room temperature issue, and they immediately responded to try and address this issue with providing additional fans and/or upgraded fans ~ I found this very encouraging and I am hopeful the host will follow through and make these changes .

Proximité du parc Calme Le confort du lit ( enfin un matelas ferme, rare à hawaii)

La salle de bain mérite une rénovation Les parties communes ne sont pas très propres Aucune endroit dans la chambre pour se relaxer en dehors du lit ( pas de chaises, pas de vue sur l’extérieur)

"Funky but clean"

It's very funky, like with Fred Flinstone meets 80s vibes in a treehouse, but the bed linens were very clean. A little weird that there's no one on site working there. Volcano Lodge has affordable breakfast - which we recommend - but having something for breakfast would have been nice.
