Fireside Lodge

Good location and free bicycle rental

Too expensive compared to similar lodges near the area.

Highlight of the trip! The lodge is decked out with activities, snacks, drinks, etc. Breakfast was fantastic, bikes were available to use (perfect for July 4th weekend with lots of traffic), even a trailer was attached to one of the bikes to bring our toddler along. The couple who owns the lodge is amazing, they're so sweet and attentive. We told them we were leaving early and they even left some breakfast in our room the night before! They have sweet pups that are roaming and my toddler adored them, smores and happy hour nightly, great recommendations for places to go. The cabin itself is quaint and exactly the vibe we were looking for when being in Tahoe. Kitchen was decked out and we loved the booth/table to sit at.

Woke up with sore neck/back from the mattress/pillows, but we didn't expect a fancy bed.

The sauna wasn’t very new.

Owners were very accommodating with early check in. Room was clean, nice and perfect for our needs/family. Kitchenette was stocked with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, small crockpot, dishes, eating utensils etc. Expanded continental breakfast was very nice and a rare find nowadays. Mattress on one bed was a little uncomfortable, but all else puts this place on our list of where we would stay again!

Friendly staff, cozy room and lodge. We had such a fun stay at Fireside! We totally forgot to take photos of ourselves skiing beautiful Northstar, but we took lots of pics of our fun time at Fireside, lol! You can tell that the proprietors really care not only about their property, but your experience there.

Location is great. Staff are friendly. Pets are welcome. Great amenities for families. Close to snow play areas. Close to restaurants
