Sheraton Duluth Hotel

I have stayed at this location before and it was never great, but this last time was the worst. The hotel front desk is very unhelpful. I asked for extra towels to be brought to my room one evening around 10:30pm, and she looked at me annoyed and asked how early do you need them? I said well I need them for my morning shower so anytime before 6:30am I suppose. She informed me that housekeeping doesn't come in until 11am. I walked away. Another night, I asked the front desk if there was a microwave for guests to use since there aren't any in the rooms. I was informed that I could rent one for my room for $5/night! What? I literally laughed and said that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard from a hotel. The restaurant for breakfast was always extremely slow, and the wait staff was unfriendly. It took at about 45 minutes for some eggs and toast and they were not busy. The table next to me said they have been waiting longer than that and everyone in the restaurant was clearly upset. The parking situation is horrible! I knew that from previous stays, but that and all the rest this trip was just to much. I will never be back.

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights as pre-cruise. The hotel is in a decent location, near restaurants and lake walk. The decor is nice, the room was fine (photos taken after we’d been in the room, bed was perfectly neat upon arrival) What I wasn’t pleased with was location of my room. It was right off the elevator, loud people streaming up from the hotel bar late, standing talking in front of elevator, yelling down the hall, some people are ignorant, what can you do. But add to that a horribly loud ice machine echoing down the hall. If I return to this hotel I’d make sure to not be on that side of the building.

They don't mention to tell you that you have to walk 3 blocks to the parking garage. Its mostly inside but not very convenient. Bed wasnt comfortable. There was also mold in the shower. Wouldn't recommend nor stay here again.

Overall Hotel was good, room was clean. Only drawback was the parking. VERY confusing. So when you check in park out front run in check in then take luggage to room. Go back get your car go around the block to parking garage. Then you have to walk 2 long skywalks. Then two different elevators. I wish we were told this before considering this hotel.
