Menzeh Zalagh

Menzeh Zalagh had extremely comfortable rooms, OK (not great) Wifi connection, a beautiful garden and pool area, and various options for food and wine/beer. It is in the Ville Nouvelle, so definitely not a riad in the Medina if that is what you are looking for. Food, beer, and wine were available most of the time--to fit your schedule--and OK for a Western-oriented hotel. We ate a lot of pizza! There are beer specials every night. The pool is beautiful and refreshing, although the lack of rules could have teens cannonballing onto you while you are swimming laps. Our biggest negative involved breakfast. It was always the same (Berber cakes, hard-boiled eggs, roasted tomatoes and potates, olives, 6 kinds of puff pastry, and cucumbers and tomatoes. NO fresh fruit or even dates, ever. No yogurt. Nescafe coffee. I was so tired of this after a week and a half that I wanted to cry--or at least go somewhere else despite having paid for breakfast through my room rate. The next negative involved the tour guide who alway hung out by the front desk and pestered us about tours. He was always ready to jump on us when we were going in and out. So, two negatives among a host of good features. It is also only a couple of blocks from the huge Borj Fes mall if you want to get some fresh fruit and yogurt and the Carrefour supermarket (I did) or peruse the liquor store (did that, too).

The hotel & staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Rudest staff around. Bellman cursed us out for not a large enough tip. Rest of the staff rude and unhelpful.

Nelle stanze tutto rotto. Ristorante molto scadente. Manca la frutta e i piatti del self service non vengono ripristinati. Prezzo assolutamente fuori mercato per i servizi offerti.

Albergo da 2* forse 2e1/2 ma non oltre. Ristorante scadentino. Personale della cocierge poco collaborativo. Pulizia dei lunghi comuni, molto a desiderare.

Decepcionante. Parecía un magnífico hotel por sus instalaciones, pero encontramos el baño sucio, poca agua en la descarga del váter, un desayuno buffet muy pobre y el personal del hotel sin demasiada buena disposición ante consultas y reclamos. Lo demás, bien.

These pics are just a sham absolutely horrified when we saw the hotel the floors were filthy breakfast was boiled eggs and morrocan pancakes which were like cardboard... NEVER AGAIN

Utilizei este hotel após ter tido problemas com minha reserva original, a cidade estava cheia, só sobrou esse mesmo. Hotel antigo, café da manhã e jantar péssimos, colcha da cama queimada por cigarros, ar condicionado estava quebrado, não recomendo de jeito nenhum

Twee hotels met dezelfde naam. Verwarring voor de taxichauffeurs. Slecht receptie balie personeel Onveilig deurslot naar kamer 233. Ook onveilig balkondeurslot. Overvol restaurant voor ontbijt om 06:00 uur.. Slechte ontbijt eten selectie beschikbaar. Geen sinaasappelsap voor ontbijt beschikbaar. Bar waiter sprak alleen Arabisch en niet Engels, Frans Spaans. Ik verliet het hotel na een nacht. Een vier sterren is een grapje.
