Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Kearney South

This hotel offers breakfast, which was delightful. And it isn't a squidgy breakfast either - there were eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, milk, yougurt, cereals, etc. Saved us from going out for breakfast, which can be a major expense. My husband noted that this was the nicest looking budget hotel lobby we've seen!

Skeptical when reservation made, but decided to give a chance. Funky smell, Dirty room, toe nails on floor amd roaches. Need it say more?

Close to in town and restaurants

Where to begin? First the floors were dirty which I sweep and mop any facility we stay at long term as we travel for work. Not that big an issue. The shower curtain didn’t go far enough to the floor so water splashes out across the bathroom floor. The shower head looks as though it’s been used since the 50’s and sprays out in a way that you must reposition more than necessary to rinse off. The toilet leaked around the bottom so again more water across the floor. The water heater was out for 2 days before they fixed it at 8PM!! The microwave did NOT spin the plate. I told housekeeping and the front desk my room was clean and I didn’t need services. They came in my room while I was at work and cleaned anyway with dirty mop water smells left behind. Here’s the best part 🙄 THEY TOOK MY PERSONAL BLANKET OFF THE BED AND THREW IT ON THE GROUND, replaced by the hotels blankets. They are disrespectful and invasive to your room. They don’t speak ENGLISH and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND never choosing this place!
