SCP Depoe Bay

No coffee in the room or in common area

The property was nicely decorated with a sunny deck facing the harbor. There was a short walk past the harbor to a little park. We saw seals and otters. However, it felt like we were the only ones there. Attention to details seemed more about aesthetic than comfort of the guest. We didn’t need a swing or a white noise machine in the room, we needed extra blankets, but the blankets were very small and thin like the kind you get at Walmart for a dollar.There was no in room coffee and the breakfast really could not be called breakfast. Fortunately, Shelby the clerk was super sweet and gave us a Keurig for our room. Otherwise, coffee is not served until 8 o’clock. And breakfast was literally a quarter cup of granola in a paper bag. We were not able to take advantage of the breakfast on our stay. All that being said, if you like minimalism without a lot of fuss, this may be the place for you. For the price we paid, I expected a little bit more.

Our room was clean and quiet with an electric fireplace and view of the harbor. It is possible to walk uphill to restaurants, shops and the whale watching center. We have stayed here before and would stay again.

Very stylish property and lovely reception

The experience was overall disappointing, we had to make up our own bed on arrival, all the sheets were just left on the bed and pillows on the fridge. The trash can was in the middle of the floor. The shower gel and shampoo dispensers were empty which also made for a disappointing shower. The breakfast was a pot of coffee, an orange or apple and a tiny bag of granola. aka we had to pay extra to go eat elsewhere.

Our stay was excellent! SCP was clean and so cute!! They had washers and dryers, which was super helpful! The staff was so friendly and were able to accommodate our late arrival so easily! We ended up booking a second night with them!!

We frequently go to this property - we love the dog friendly vibes.

The balcony view over the marina was amazing.

Breakfast could have been a bit more substantial and for a slim service hotel it is expensive.

This place was beautiful, clean, friendly and affordable. The lobby had plenty to do with board games, a couple of swinging chairs, binoculars, puzzles and more. There was a quaint gym area and a laundry area. The porch was beautiful and the chairs comfy. The view was nice. We were looking right out at the world’s smallest harbor. The swing chair in the room was such a fun touch. The bed was comfy and the tv was mounted so we could watch from bed easily. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly but also gave plenty of space for us to explore around the property. We were also very close to the main shopping and food area of Depoe Bay. Right next to the ocean as well.

Great spot for a couple of days stay. The girl on our arrival, announced she was leaving as soon as we arrived, just before 6pm. I get that she's probably only employed until 6pm but it didn't make for a great reception .
