Naomi's Inn Bed & Breakfast

I chose the inn at first for the location. What I found out was it offered us everything we really had needed. Yes it’s very comfortable and very clean and well kept…..what you hope for wherever you stay. But the gift of this place is in the care the owner gives to you. Each room is unique in its furnishings but what is so much more is it is filled with quiet joy and really.. love. I wish the reason we came was different but I am so thankful that somehow I was fortunate to have a ‘home’ like this to choose. These are the treasures.

The room was very nice, well appointed with antiques and little thoughtful touches. The bathroom sink support was an old cast iron sewing machine stand - clever :). The host, Naomi, was a delight to talk with over breakfast, very dedicated to her job!

The bed was very comfortable. The street was pretty noisy all night but not much can be done about that - it's a city street. We left before breakfast was served - we did not see the email inquiring about breakfast, so we ended up leaving and going out for breakfast. I thought the cost of the room was pricey, especially when we didn't have the time to stay for breakfast.

The exterior of the building needed some work. All in all looked like a work in progress.

Easy to find and close to the highways

Breakfast was fine with a set menu but she did work with dietary restrictions with other guests which we did not need. A good dusting was needed in our room but otherwise clean.

Bathtub was difficult to get into with a very high side. Supports would have helped.

Convenience

Very convenient for overnight stay before a procedure at Baystate Hospital as it is directly across the street. We live an hour away and were required to check in at 5:30 am. We set our phone alarm for 5 am and were on time! We would have had to get up at 3:30 am otherwise!

This property is very convenient for those having business at bay state hospital located across the street. Older Victorian house decorated with antiques and eclectic.

Staying at Naomi’s Bed and Breakfast in beautiful Springfield sure beats any hotel chain! The homemade breakfast and entire environment in her lovely three story home was a special treat. Great location, conversation, and she had gooof recommendations for dinner too.
