Guests highly rate the great customer service and frequently praise the clean and quiet rooms.
Room cleanliness was good. Poor service as the front desk person wasn't available 90% of time. Morning breakfast had empty coffee bottle and brewed coffee wasn't hot too. The lady who worked there made a scorny face and wasn't polite when we turned on coffee machine. The staffs weren't professionally dressed.
Really happy with everything but, breakfast was disappointing. Friendly owners, very clean, and comfortable.
Clean facility, good price, easy booking with Expedia. Off season, last minute booking, so hotel not full, but we were put in a room with adjoining door to room next to us, which maybe made it louder than if we weren't. Continental breakfast was convenient and good.

Hotel is old but okay. Very expensive for what it is....$300 for a room like this is way too much, they use the fact that there isn't a lot of accomodation around Algonquin Park at Thanksgiving weekend

Staff were abrupt and not friendly. The bed was horrible.
I forgot to bring the adaptor for my electronics, the lady at the front desk would not lend one to me. She said it was my fault and her manager would not allow lending the adapter. When I was checking out, I asked if I could leave my luggage in the lodge until 5 pm. She said "We will not be here." After some protests, she told me that I could leave it behind the stairs. I returned before 5 pm, she was right there at the reception. I believe she is at least one of the owners. As a frequent traveler, I have not met any lodge owner/employee so unhelpful.
