Las Rocas Resort and Dive Center

Las Rocas is a small, family owned resort which provides a wonderful experience for travellers. They provided free transport between the resort and the airport. Prior to our stay we had many questions, so we called or emailed, and the response was timely. The pluses are many - reasonable price, great breakfasts (did I mention that it was included in the price?) , staff that was warm, welcoming and accomodating - Winston and Marilyn in the restaurant/bar provided some of the most professional and personal service I have experienced, and the front desk staff were sooo helpful. The resort is set apart from the beach front area, sort of nestled in, which gives it a sense of exclusivity and calm. I found it to be very quiet, most of the guests were interested in diving and had busy days and quiet evenings. The rooms were clean and the size was adequate for our needs; the beds were basic and fine for us. We were in one of the top/bottom jungle bungalows - I recommend the top so that you have a view from the balcony. There is no TV, but internet was fine for streaming some movies. I would try one of the larger units on our next visit. If you are looking for authentic and personal, book with Las Rocas - you will be pleased.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at Las Rocas Resort. The personnel were welcoming and always helpful. The location is perfectly situated, walking distance between west end and west bay. The food at the restaurant was great and breakfast was included. We truly have no complaints. They also kindly organized transportation to and from the hotel, which made our travel seamless and stress-free.

My husband and I have visited Las Rocas many times to eat and enjoy the happy hour and beautiful views. This trip we added 4 nights at Las Rocas and enjoyed every minute. Our "Jungle Bungalow" was clean & cozy. Loved our balcony & view. It was hard to pull myself away from the hammock. So peaceful & relaxing in the evening. Also we can't say enough about the friendly staff. They remember your name and are very helpful - front desk, bar (Winston & Devon!) & restaurant, housekeepers, drivers etc. They are pleasant and happy to assist. It's a wonderful friendly community - we became friends with many of the guests as well. Can't wait to visit again.

Being stuck in our room for a few days of rain. Not the resorts fault. Television and wifi signal in our room was poor
