American Inn of Daytona

Flew to Florida on a red eye, needed sleep badly. Checked in with front desk at 9am, they didn’t have any rooms available at the moment, but took my number and called me as soon as a room was available shortly there after. Rooms are not fancy, but are clean and comfortable.

The pictures look better than the rooms do in real life, very outdated and smells like mold

It was HORRIBLE everything was dirty from the front desk through the bed sheets and bathroom. My son took a shower and he needed to wear shoes because it was so nasty. The outside area was very dark, and very insecure. EXPEDIA You should remove this facilty from your list ASAP

This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. The room stunk of cigarette smoke. Sheets had burn holes in them from the cigarettes. Walls were dirty and crumbling. WiFi was terrible. Dirty floors. The outside was in bad shape and it is not located in a safe neighborhood. There is so much more I could say but my one recommendation is don’t rent here and Orbitz should block this place from their w3bsite so customers would not choose it to stay in.

Needed a room for an overnight business trip. Because it was bike week and the start of spring break I was having a hard time finding a room that was within the dollar amount that is slotted for rooms Orbitz recommend this place. What a dump. WiFi was terrible. Location terrible. Nothing nice. They need to bulldoze this place down. It wasn’t even cheap.

belongs in the 1950's very overpriced

Basic motel with the necessities. Nothing fancy but it does the job and close enough to the race track. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing at all. No blankets no rubber mats in the shower I fell. It smelled I already gave you a list and I refused to stay in the room anymore and slept in the rental car and for the second night I rented another room. I honestly feel I need to get reimbursed.

there were bubbles in the walls with cracks [what's behind the bubbles? Mold?] the shower control was loose and nearly impossible to adjust. the couch was dirty. the microwave's door drags on the fridge. the door jam's paint is peeling. the bed for me is way too high. will not stay in American Inn again.
