Hôtel Sacacomie

The hotel occupies a beautiful location and we were lucky to have a room overlooking the lake with spectacular views. Yes. the hotel is dark inside because it's built of wood and yes, the rooms are dated but what really makes this hotel special are the staff and the fantastic restaurant. The level of English was the highest we came across is Quebec and the food excellent . The staff in the restaurant were exceptional. I would say go an enjoy a couple of days off grid but beware the mozzies in the woods...

Gorgeous hotel. Would stay again, but I’d happily pay more for a room with view, it’s so beautiful. Lots of bugs in spring, bring appropriate clothes and spray if you want to go hiking especially. Food is good but expensive. Good coffee. Free kayak, sup, etc to go on the stunning lake. Nice trails, microbrasserie nearby. Shops (supermarket) 10 min drive Not all rooms have airco. They let us switch rooms during heatwave, which was extremely nice and appreciated! Merci!! Loved being here!

The hotel offers beautiful views and is set in a beautiful location. The entire building is made of wood, giving it a warm, cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. That said, we don’t plan to return, as we felt restricted by the schedule and reservation policies. We stayed for one night, but the spa only opens at 10:00 a.m. and checkout is at 11:00 a.m., which left very little time to enjoy it. Dining was also inconvenient, reservations were required for every meal, and the only available times were either very early or very late, even though the restaurant was half empty. Staff explained this was to avoid everyone showing up at once, but the restaurant was half empty, especially for breakfast. Lastly, we were surprised to see a mandatory 13% tip automatically added to our bill. While we had every intention of tipping, we believe it should be left to the guest’s discretion based on the service provided. Food and drink pices are comparable to what you'd find in New York or Vancouver.If you are going there, try to book a package.

We stayed at the Sacacomie Hotel for just one night, thank god! The hotel was noisy and poorly soundproofed. We could hear the kitchen, people in the hallway, people in the rooms next to and above ours from our room. The beds are very uncomfortable and the facilities are old and poorly maintained. On Saturday, March 8, both hot tubs and one of the saunas were terribly cold. We and several other guests had to complain to the GEOS reception so they could fix the situation. The next day, March 9, one of the two hot tubs was broken. At the end of our stay, we tried to mention it to the receptionist as we were leaving and she told us to get lost. In short, we do not recommend this hotel.

The staff is very kind and welcoming. The hotel offers many outdoors activities and let you enjoy them even after checking out.

This once gem has really declined....They seem to surf on the past and the view, but for all rest, very sub standard for a supposedly 4 star !!. Hotel and grounds greatly need a make over. However, the most important of all service oriented businesses (especially a hotel): the welcome, making guests feel important, the pride and the attitudes of the operating culture. The hotel culture has a "vibe" which reflects a certain disinterest and lack of motivation, I would even say, rudeness at times, especially for the price that we paid ! In organizational culture fundamentals, the observations mentioned above are "symptoms" of the lack or absence of vision, pride and leadership. I hope this message gets to the top ...

Superbe emplacement, magnifique paysage et plusieurs activités hivernales.

Had a beautiful weekend for Valentines and couldn't find a nicer quiet place to enjoy the moment. The staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel was a beautiful wood cabin look ,cozy with a big fireplace lit up at the entrance. For relaxing the Spa was great , free waterbottles, bathrobe and towels for your experience. Outdoor pools,Dry spas, relaxing areas and a wonderful wet spa as well. A full range of different types of massages to choose from and most importantly very clean. Alexis at the reception was an absolute great receptionist at the Spa with his great smile and explanations of all the amazing experience you are about to have. Couldn't have been more pleased with my weekend as well they have specials for all kinds of activities. Check out there website for a taste of what's available, you won't be disappointed.
