Breakfast was amazing. We were given a free upgrade and the room was perfect!

This is an amazing place to stay it’s about a 5 minute walk in to Windermere, the rooms were amazing very clean, we stayed in the lady of the manor room, very large, lots of space with fantastic views The breakfast was good all local produce , lots of variety from cereal to a full English, and pastries.

The property is located in an ideal location if visiting Bowness on Windermere and the surrounding areas. The room was a good size, with good amenities, the cookies provided were tasty and a nice bonus to be welcomed to. The main car park for the property is poorly signposted, this could be improved to make it easier for guests. It was disappointing only to learn on arrival at the hotel that there was no lift on site. If you have more than an overnight bag or accessibility issues, be prepared for a struggle as the stairs are not particularly wide and to reach certain rooms involves quite a few sets of stairs. The breakfast on site is excellent and includes a number of continental and cooked options, that cater to all needs and desires. On a small point, it’s a shame the property does not offer evening meals, because if the quality of those were to match their breakfast quality, it would undoubtedly be a success. We visited in June, and the weather at the time was quite warm, therefore the room was warm, but a fan provided in the room was most welcome and made a big odds in cooling us down!

Great staff, so friendly and professional. Fabulous location, lovely views and very nice rooms. Breakfast and staff were incredible!!

Nothing I didn’t like, though would be great if they did an evening dinner in the beautiful restaurant
