"Exceptional"

The booking included breakfast, and it was surprisingly delicious! The staff were all so friendly. The room was clean, and the beds were super comfy! I would stay here again, as it's only a short drive to downtown SLO.

"Great staff but hotel disappointing."

The Staff was wonderful and friendly.

The hotel is going through renovations at the moment. The parking is filled with containers so there is not enough available spaces. And the prepaid breakfast was a big disappointment. It would be best to go into town and get something nicer to start the day.

My wife got bitten up really badly by bed bugs. She had to Miss 3 days of work to heal. The property was great, customer service was awesome but my wife suffered for a few days unfortunately

"Be Careful When Canceling a Reservation"

I canceled a reservation for this hotel a within ten minutes after making the reservation but was still charged for the room because the reservation was made the day before (hotel has a 48 hour cancellation policy). Another Marriott Hotel was booked in the area instead because more convenient. When I canceled the reservation online I did not receive a notification that I would be charged. I am a Platinum Elite Member so have done quite a bit of business with Marriott over the years. I contacted the Platinum customer service line to see if I could get the amount refunded but was told that the hotel declined to provide a refund. I understand they have the right to charge me, but this has me frustrated since I canceled the reservation so quickly after making it. I don't suspect they lost any business in the short time I canceled after making the reservation. Maybe Marriott customer service is changing and not for the better!

"Good"

The property itself is okay but checking in they gave us the wrong room key and we went into an occupied room then later at night the key stopped working so I had to be dragging my small kids up and down floors getting everything situated, and the staff didn’t do anything to apologize for all the inconveniences. Also, no trash bags in the trash can in the rooms.

"Very nice hotel, very clean"

Hotel is really nice. Very comfortable and helpful for us cyclists storing equipment while we tour. Michelle was very helpful during checkin. She shared with us many restaurants nearby since we did not have a car. Her recommendation for the switch was perfect
