Eden Village Motel and Cottages

They made the view and the cottage seem like it was a beautiful lake front cabin when the fact is it's not a lake not even a pond. It's a small duck pool. You can't swim in it, walk in it or even splash water on your face because the water is very disgusting and duck poop filled. When we got inside the chairs where very cheap and broken in the kitchen. My family spent alot of money on this cabin for the forth of July which they up charged 300 percent because of the holiday. That's not all though there was not a shower curtain or anything to protect the shower water from getting on the floor so we had to clean water up after taking a shower. There was only a small bottle of cleaning supplies that was almost empty. There were other things as well we were very disappointed with. I would never stay at this place again. They completely take advantage of people trying to.stay in a cabin next to a lake for vacation. Don't stay here if you want a nice vacation experience.

Loved the deck off the back, access to fire pits, and great location.

There wasn’t a screen on the bathroom window so it let lots of bugs inside. There wasn’t access to ice.

Stacy was nice to deal with. The cottage was clean and served our purpose as a place to crash for one night.

The cottage was quite "dated".

We were five guests and we have just loved our one night stay at the Maine House. The house is indeed better than what we could expect from the pics. It's a really big house, comfortable and cozy. It has a spacious restroom as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The fireplace was an unexpected surprise! Finally its in a fair distance to the Acadia National Park and to Bar Harbor downtown. We could easily stay more or come back.Thanks!

We could add only two not so good points: 1) the sofabed's mattress is really thin and bad. Don't count on it. 2) we couldn't stay more.
