"Beautiful Inn in the heart of Fall foliage!"

The hotel and surrounding area is beautiful! Great bed, wonderful room, charming breakfast room with delicious food. I would definitely stay again.

A superb old house and warm welcome from Joan. Quiet location but interesting things to do in the area; visit the old cinema at Bantam or a river cruise from just a few miles South

EXCELLENT FOOD! Uniquely 'old school' furnishings- a dream for antique lovers. The Owners and dining room staff could not have been more solicitous and friendly. Room temperature control was, unfortunately also 'old school' (only semi-efficient); likely more of an issue if one plans to spend most of the day in the room.

"Great B&B! Even better breakfast!"

Had a lovely one nights stay. B&B is spotless and a great location. The breakfast had to be one of the best B&B breakfasts I have had, and I come from Ireland! The best was way to soft for my liking, and could not sleep. But that's my preference only. Had a really lovely stay, and both Joan and Steve are lovely people.

"Support B&Bs !!"

We hope Northfield is back on track to revival, but right now, there is nothing going on in the area. We stayed at the Centennial because we were visiting family at the nearby Farm School. If we had known the area better, we could have found lodging in Orange or Athol. That said, the owners couldn't have been nicer. Joan cooked us an enormous and delicious breakfast. The B&B had an interesting history and was clean and comfortable.

"Loved our trip to Northfield."

We loved being at Centennial House. We were sorry that Hotels.Com did not have us in the Deerfield Suite the entire time but Joan and Steve helped us move from one room to another. The breakfasts are wonderful and three courses! The gazebo in the back is a highlight. The old house is a terrific place to stay and explore the Berkshires. We highly recommend it.
