Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast

Our host was very informative regarding the areas surrounding us. She suggests places you may want to visit according to your interests. The grounds are beautiful and would like to see it when everything is in bloom. The community gathering gave us opportunities for fellowship. We toured all the rooms & cottages to choose our room for next stay. This is our 6th visit to the area but first time staying in a B&B. Carol and Doug set standards high for every other B &B. Our only disappointment was that our fireplace was inoperative and we were told that upfront.

Very quiet and relaxed. Carol and Doug were great hosts telling about the area and giving insights into where to go. Would stay again.

Our host and hostess, Doug and Carol, were gracious and kind. We enjoyed our chats at breakfast. The rooms were clean and relaxing. The scenery in the Amish heartland was the epitome of slow and leisurely. We left relaxed and rejuvenated. We will return.

Beautiful property, cozy room, wonderful hosts…. What more could you ask for.

Have not been here in about 6 years whe former owners were still here. Decided that we wanted to create new memories and came to stay for the weekend. Met Doug and Carol. This is their dream. As such they strive to make everything right. Very friendly. Looking foward to coming later on in the year again to seat by the campfire to chat under the stars. Although have to state, the beauty of the untouched snow in Amish country was delightful.

This was a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Clean, spacious room and beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed our stay at the bed and breakfast in the briar patch room, and hope to return.Hopefully, the next time a full breakfast will be available. Carol was friendly and available.

Carol and Doug are fabulous hosts! The room was amazing! And the view from their place was beautiful!

Carol and Doug were super hosts. Their property is quaint, quiet and serene. We loved looking at the farm animals that are nearby. The views from the property are breathtaking. If you’re looking for a cottage atmosphere in a picturesque environment, this is your place.
