Isles Of Glencoe Hotel

Hotel not equipped for hot weather and high temperatures. There is no air conditioning in the hotel (admittedly not uncommon in the UK), however other ways to deal with heat was lacking. Windows only opened a sliver, and fans were dusty and outdated.

Beautiful location tucked away near Loch Leven. The rooms were a good size, however no fridge or safe. Facilities very good, nice swimming pool and sauna. We stayed 2 nights, but our room wasn’t cleaned or bed made. Beautiful was a good standard. Easy walking distance to and from pub and local store.

This would be a four star review but for the mean spirited nature of hotel charging extra for item such as coffee for an included breakfast and insisting on guests using child sized plates at the buffet

Beautiful property. Great rooms. Staff was friendly and hospitable. Food could be better. I also wish staff was more attentive when your eating at the restaurant. You have to really flaf someone down if need anything.

So relaxing! Room had a great view of the Lake. Beds where very comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a huge variety of options. Place was very calm and gorgeous. Plenty of space to park. Service from staff was great too! Took a walk around the property in the morning, great views. I believe you can kayak but I was only there for the night.

Our stay was excellent. The location is unbeatable, with views of the water and mountains on almost every side. The staff was very friendly and helpful and Lorand and all the restaurant staff made the visit a complete pleasure.

Beautiful property. Service terrible. Check in was a nightmare, no one at the front desk and given keys without confirming if that was my room. Then someone came at 11:30pm to ask if my room had 3 beds or not. We al wanted to have breakfast and no one at restaurant land decided to leave, again waiting 15 min for check out
