Lovely location and great staff. Rooms were large and airy and were well equipped. Lots of choice for breakfast & quality was good.

Given the position, mosquitoes are inevitable & they will find their way into your room, however the mosquito net ensured a good night's sleep.

"Lovely traditional oasis on the river."

Secluded, quiet haven on the river. The rooms and villas are spacious and the view is great.The staff are excellent, the food good and the pool is deep and cool, which is refreshing after a day of 36 degree heat. Chiang Rai is noticeably less humid than Bangkok/Pattaya, etc. We had the one bedroom villa and it’s like a small house - so much room, and an outside setting just looking at the river.

The individual pools in the pool villas are over chlorinated and under filtered. Better to just use the main pool.

Mosquito net over the bed, the balconies, the location is peaceful and beautiful. Left fresh water outside the room every day regardless of whether they made up the room.

Shower pressure was a little weak. The shower head holder was broken and wouldn't stay up.

We booked a villa with private pool which made our stay very pleasant. It was very big and well equipped and the bed was lovely. The location was so beautiful, directly on the river. The hotel itself is a bit old and that shows but we did not mind at all. We loved the beautiful garden and the staff was very friendly.

Our private pool was not very clean
