Forest Dunes 1501 Escape!

The first room we where given was dirty. The bathroom looked filthy the kitchen refrigerator looked like it came out of an abandoned home. It was very uncomfortable. The second location that we switched to looked a little cleaner but it wasnt! You could barely get the air conditioner to come on, one of the beds where broken and you have to sit on it very slowly the sheets for the pull out couch caused my child to break out in a rash and his face and eye was swollen, the kitchen stove was broken.and looked unsafe.i feel like i was completely over charged for my accommodations fiven. I will never come back to forest dumes! EVER!

Location is great and it's in a very nice and quiet part of the beach. Very close to the beach and having 3 pools and 2 hot tubs is a plus! There is also a restaurant on the ground level so if you don't feel like going anywhere, thisnis a great option and drinks are good. The room has a nice set up with a full kitchen. The balcony is my most favorite part.

We stayed in room 301, I asked for accommodations for 3 adults. We got a king bed and pull out couch. This room should not be listed for the pull out couch, it was completely metal springs with the floor being more comfortable thank the mattress. I ended up having to go to target at spend $45 on an air mattress that we then left in the foot rest of the living room so hopefully the next person doesn’t have to pay to sleep on metal springs. That room should just be listed as a king bed not one that accommodates 4 adults. Will not stay at Forest Dunes again.

Everything was good except, the bslcony slide lock was broken.

Price was reasonable. Very short walk to the beach. Just across the street. New small appliances in the kitchen. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, and flatware. Two coffee pots - one regular and one Keurig. Plenty of room in the living room/kitchen area. There was a full bath and a half bath. Obviously an attempt to freshen up the full bathroom. However, the paint job was lacking - needed another coat. Appears water had damaged the baseboards in the kitchen and bath which was poorly repaired. The condo is at the complete end of the building which meant we had to travel the entire building to get to the elevator that took us to the beach and the parking lot. The parking lot is separate from the building also on the opposite end from the elevator, which meant to get to the car we had to walk to the front of the building to catch the elevator and then walk to the back of the building where our car was parked. The decor was really nice. Lots of beach pictures and pillows. Very cute condo. We liked Forest Dunes but would not want to stay at that end of the building again.

Great place love the view of the ocean, restaurant on premises. Laundry, safe parking garage. Would love to go back

Well it started off great. The front desk was friendly and also came up to help with the A/C. The parking garage said vehicles under 6' 8" should park on the 2nd floor. I pulled my truck up to the measuring bar and it was super close so I didn't want to risk it. I parked on the first floor. at 11:30 PM, we hear a loud knock as if the cops are outside. The security guards informed us if we didnt move our vehicle, it would be towed, at 1130 PM! So here we are, on an anniversary vacation, with no kids, and we are getting woken up at 1130 PM. I went down and moved my truck, and had about 2 inches of clearance, so it was close!. Also, it is worth mentioning, there were other open spots so it wasn't like I was taking a spot from someone. We then called the front desk and asked if there was a policy on what time they could wake there guests, because it seemed too late to us. She informed us that it was a courtesy call, rather than just towing it. We told them we understand the couteus call and it is appreciated, but if the tow truck isn't sitting out there waiting, could it not wait until the morning? To which she replied, "Well I will tell the security guards not to give you a courtesy call next time, and it will just be towed". Then hung up the phone. So they have weird policies where they can knock on your door at any time of the night because of "courtesy", which is a cover for them measuring and towing vehicles in the middle of the night while people are there on vacation.

I loved everything about this place! We were off a quiet street, but still close enough to other things to do. The indoor/outdoor pools and outdoor hot tub was nice. The pictures of the room doesn’t do this place justice. All the staff was extremely friendly and polite. They truly value customer service and it shows! We will definitely be back.

We were looking for a easy relaxing long weekend at the beach. Forest Dunes helped us make this possible. Room was clean, great ocean view and very quite. Weather was excellent and the poolside setup was wonderful as well. Will consider staying at Forest Dunes on future beach trips.

Good location to beach,but away from attractions, mop and broom in closet were unusable. Table on balcony kept falling apart,fridge kept making noise all night, fan in bathroom fell while my daughter was on toilet,reported it to front desk,was not fixed during our entire stay.
