Hotel Cala Moresca

The property was a fantastic location. However, this location was actually, personally, purely just a wedding venue. This venue had weddings 4/7 nights and left no room for actual hotel guests, because there was no segregation at all. You were almost pushed to the side with it all because that is clearly where the money is coming from for that location, not through people going on holidays. The property is absolute beautiful and it really was such a shame that we felt the way it did because it was mine and my partners 1st anniversary, which, is not massive, but mattered to us; and we felt like we weren’t on holiday, but merely “visiting” each night. The view is absolutely stunning and a bit of a walk to town, but overall, I would give this place a 3/5. If it wasn’t for the views it would be lower. The customer service was great, but during lunch times and the middle of the day, they were getting ready for the receptions. Also, because of the time of year, the pool was closed, which we found out after booking the venue. This contributed to us feeling excluded because we couldn’t go and sit by the pool and relax. We actually did have to complain about our stay on the last night, because there was another wedding, (4th in 7 nights), and they gave us a free meal in their restaurant, which was very much appreciated, but, in all honesty, didn’t make up for the entire week. I for one, came away feeling like I haven’t had a weeks holiday (luckily I was in Ischia for a week beforehand with a wedding, which was lovely). Overall I’d give this property: 5* for the location - although a bit of a trek to town if you didn’t want to get a taxi everyday 4* for the customer service 2* for the stay itself

I think I have explained above. This is not a holiday location, but more of a wedding venue. If you were set on using this hotel, get a superior room because it overlooks the sea. We didn’t do that and had to pay €20 a night, had we have wanted to upgrade. The staff were great, I can’t take anything away from them, but they cannot facilitate both wedding guests and holiday guests.

The views were spectacular. The food and service was awesome.

The pool was not open due to repairs and the jacuzzi was part of the spa at a cost which should be advertised. The wind on the patio door was very loud and needs to be sealed better. Kitchen was closed for the daytime meal. No other meal options in the area due to seasonal availability.

La dame de l'accueil qui j'ai eu l'impression a manifesté du racisme à mon égard. Je suis arrivée pour faire le Check in , j'ai trouvé l'hôtesse d'accueil au téléphone. J'ai gentiment attendu qu'elle finisse de parler . Elle ne m'a même pas calculé, ni elle ne dit bonjour, ni un mot de bienvenue , elle a commencé à vaquer à ses occupations comme si je n'étais pas là à attendre . 5 mins après son appel, je lui demande mais Mme , c'est vous qui accueillez les clients ? Elle se confond en excuses sorry i forgot you ... Service et traitement à revoir
