The Kingsbury Colombo

The location is perfect close to the waterfront and walking distance to most attractions in Colombo. The staff at the pool bar and the Buffett dining area are friendly and make you feel very welcome and special. The beds and pillows in our room were super comfy. The selection of foods at the Buffett breakfast and dinner were amazing and tasted great especially for vegetarians like us.

Our room overlooked the pool area, and we had 3 interrupted nights of sleep due to the heavy loud music coming from the Honey Pool Bar, in the end we had to make a complaint at the front desk, which in itself was poorly acknowledged. We had to be up at 3.30 am to catch our train and the music was playing until about midnight, so you can imagine we didn't have much sleep. We are staying again in a couple of weeks and have requested a room facing the street away from the pool.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable and view from the window was excellent. Very convenient location.

The hotel is very old everything is worn out.. specially the armchairs at the lobby are disgustingly dirty.. the hotel need needs renovation everything is old We booked in a smoking room.. the hallway to our room smells bad.. smoking room in airport doesn’t smell this bad..
