"Not great despite having friendly staff"

Overall, not the worst stay, but not great either. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but the overall value of the stay was pretty low. We likely won't stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it to others. Pros - staff (cook at breakfast and front-desk) were both friendly and helpful - hotel and room were pretty clean and well decorated; clearly renovated recently - convenient location to Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center -- you can easily walk there Cons - sound-proofing wasn't great; we could hear the guy in the next room coughing so I'm sure my kids annoyed him - breakfast wasn't bad necessarily, but the French toast was $15 was lacking -- probably should have went to Starbucks up the road. - not great value with Hilton Honors benefits -- the Daily Food and Beverage credit only applied to the Greek Yogurt or the kids meal; thankfully we have two kids, but warning to those that don't - the "one bedroom suite" does NOT have a door separating the bed and couch areas (look at the pictures closely because I didn't)

Showed up after 10:00pm, looking forward to resting my head on a pillow as soon as possible. Waited in the lobby for 15 minutes before anyone showed up. (She stated she was eating her dinner) I tried to use the digital key on the app so I wouldn't have to check in, but that did not become available until I was home from my trip!! Prepaid for my stay, and was surprised to see an $8.20 parking recapture fee charged to my credit card! When prepaying, I was under the assumption that all taxes and fees were included in the prepayment. Not happy about the way Hilton is nickel and diming us to death.
