"Dumpy Hotel with Great Breakfast"

Negatives: The hotel is very dated. When you enter through the front doors you are instantly hit with the smell of dog pee. I believe that dogs had peed on the rugs. Our room had black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The shower wall panels were connected by tons of caulk-looked very trashy. Positives: Breakfast was great-lots of options for everyone Coffee was tasty. Great 6 minute walk to the beach. Beds were comfy. Staff was responsive to my complaint about the black mold and moved us to another room. Walmart next door. They had an outdoor shower next to the pool to rinse off before entering the pool. Would I stay here again? NO WAY! We were stuck here because I had booked it through a cheer competition room block and we would lose our money,if we moved hotels.... Or that is what the lady at the desk told me. Stay further down on the seawall towards the more expensive Hotels. The beach area looked nicer down there.

Staff was very friendly. Everything worked in room and was very clean. , Continental breakfast was also good. We was also able to park our car for cruise.

There was nothing I did not like.
