Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento-Elk Grove Laguna I-5

Breakfast was well prepared and flavorful. There was a nice variety of hot and cold food options. The are was very clean and monitored to ensure the choices were well stocked. I was very satisfied with the breakfast the property provided.

The placement of some of the tables wasn’t the best, with patrons backs facing the hallway where other guests were coming and going. Beyond that, I didn’t see any potential issues.

Nice room on the 4th floor, elevators working. The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice variety of breakfast items.

From the time we checked in with Rosaly, to the end of our stay, everything was awesome! The room was clean, the staff super friendly, the food and coffee delicious and the spa nice and hot and relaxing!

The staff was receptive to issues and remedied what they could.

The first mattress was horrible. The first shower was cold. The dog area had no bags, a full waste can and overgrown grass.

During my recent stay from 03/09–03/11, my family and I had to temporarily relocate due to repairs being done at our home. When we arrived late in the evening, we were greeted by Mary and Lailani, who both provided outstanding customer service. They were extremely friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout the check-in process. My 2-year-old son wasn’t in the best mood after a long day, but they went out of their way to comfort him with a small treat, which we truly appreciated. The only reason I’m not giving a 5-star review is due to the cleanliness of our initial room. This had nothing to do with the staff, in fact, they are the reason my review isn’t lower. When I mentioned the issue the next morning, the front desk staff immediately switched us to a new room without hesitation. Mary and Lailani also asked why I hadn’t come down the night before, and I explained that we were simply too tired. Based on the condition of the room (which I shared photos of), I do feel some form of compensation for that first night would have been appropriate. However, since the issue was resolved quickly and we were satisfied with the new room, I chose not to pursue it further. This is truly a situation where the staff saved the experience. Mary and Lailani deserve recognition for their professionalism, care, and attentiveness. I also hope the cleanliness issue in that room has since been addressed before assigning it to another guest. Again, great job to Mary and Lailani!
