Nice place. Was under renovations when we stayed.

I booked a handicap accessible room. When we arrived I was told that their records showed us booked in a regular room. Since my husband is wheelchair bound, I knew I did not book this room. With some sleuthing, the clerk found that the room was changed by an employee without notification to me. We had to find another hotel at the last minute or we would have had to sleep in the car! I sent a complaint to the corporate headquarters and the hotel manager promptly called to apologize for the inconvenience. She said the change was due to renovations at the hotel. I appreciated the call and asked that they address room changes for handicap accessibility with the guest prior to arrival.

Due to construction, they did not have the room we paid for. Then, we came back to our room after a long day and the room had not been serviced. Definitely the worst Hampton Inn we’ve ever been to. We won’t be staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice. They were in the process of renovations but that did not hinder our stay. The pool area was very nice. The breakfast was awesome and included eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc in addition to bagels, cereal and continental options. We always enjoy our stays at Hampton Inns and we will stay again!!

Things got off on the wrong foot almost immediately when we checked in, got to our room, and discovered that the sofa bed we were supposed to have was just a sofa - no pull-out bed. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked solid that night, so they couldn't move us. They did tell us we'd receive a slight discount for that night. They also promised that they'd move us to another room the next day, as ours was a 2-night stay. Well, that never happened. No on ever offered to move us. I suppose I could have gone to the front dest and pressed the issue yet again, as I had done the previous day, but I shouldn't have to do that. The hotel management/staff should have been proactive in doing what was promised, and they were not. If all of that wasn't enough, the breakfast was sub-par by Hampton standards. Not very many choices at all, and the "hot" items were lukewarm at best. I know that the hotel is undergoing renovations, and perhaps that had something to do with some of it. But I don't think all of it can be blamed on that. It had been a while since we had stayed at this particular Hampton, though we've stayed here many times before. I can tell you that it has gone downhill during that time. If you've stayed here before, but it has been a while, and you're expecting things to be like they once were, you're probably going to be disappointed. Hopefully once the renovations are done, things will improve. I can't say we won't ever give it another chance, but I can't say that we will either. There are too many other options in the area. This stay certainly left a bad taste in my mouth, and I expect it will last a while.
