Staff were lovely Location was good

The villa is tired, but they are currently working to update the premises as fast as they can as covid hit them. The Art on the walls needs to be relaxed (horrible) easily can be done with natural Balinese style things. Like large palm Leaves etc… just plain and neutral. First world issue! We moved villas as the first was not acceptable, but they were open to help us, and apologetic, and the smaller Second one (that I thought I had originally paid for) was fine. The pool Was great. Garden good - faced east so all the morning sun and cooler afternoon … The place very clean. Bed comfortable, pillows good. BUT No hot water - but we didn’t mind. It’s hot weather, so was just a little bit funny really… The staff are juggling the situation of the villas well, the owners need to do a Condition report on each villa - inside and out and sort it before the tropical Weather does harm. We paid a very reasonable rate - so all in all it was ok. But I would have left and moved to another place if the second villa was like the first.

No aircon in villa 22, the swimming pools didnt have good lighting at night. Rusty finishings on the showers and mirrors.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful 10-day stay at Danoya Villa, and it truly was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always eager to assist and ensure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The villa itself was spotless, with housekeeping coming in daily to provide fresh towels and keep everything in pristine condition. While the property could benefit from some updates and minor repairs, this in no way detracted from our holiday—it remained a comfortable and relaxing retreat. Overall, Danoya Villa provided a great balance of service, cleanliness, and relaxation. We'd happily return

NEVER EVER stay at this hotel. Be warned! It has black mould, dirty pillows with mould, back doors that don’t close or lock, toilets didn’t work, cracked tiles in house where kids could cut their feet. The tiles around pool are all broken and smells like mould. We have been to bali frequently and we are not precious but I spent over $4000 for villas and we had to leave them to ensure the safety of the young children we had with us. The hotel manager wouldn’t even talk to me and refused our refund even after we talked to the staff about all issues with toilets not working, tiles broken around pool and had to get pebbles moved as they were cutting the kids feet. Do not be fooled my pictures or what they tell you. This was within 30 min of arriving. This was the worst experience we have ever had with booking somewhere. DO NOT BOOK this villa is not worth half of what we paid for it and the manager would not even call to speak with me after raising concerns he left it all to the staff to manage.

I recently stayed at Danoya Villas and was extremely disappointed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, there were several major issues that made my stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. Firstly, there was a constant foul smell coming from the master bedroom toilet, which spread throughout the entire villa. Despite attempts to address the issue, the problem persisted, making it unbearable to stay inside for long periods. When staff attempted to fix it with chemicals, it not only failed to resolve the issue but also left stains on the floor and caused a burning sensation in my eyes whenever I entered the room. Additionally, the WiFi did not work at all, forcing me to connect to another villa’s network just to get online. The hot water took an excessive amount of time to start working, and even when it did, the toilets frequently failed to flush properly. To make matters worse, the food served at the hotel made me sick, which completely ruined my trip. Given the price and supposed quality of this hotel, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and service.

Nothing went well at all this place is absolutely horrible, moulded taps, moulded walls. Nothing compared to photos. Stayed one night and requested a refund for the rest of the nights manager was very rude

Moulded taps, electricity cut out within 10 minutes of being in there, toilet was blocked Pool was filthy Moulded walls It was absolutely horrible. Never ever staying at this place again and still waiting on my request for a refund!!!!!

Awesome pool, clean and tidy, bed really comfortable and massive, had no issues here and would hook again. Excellent communication with reception and staff members. Breakfast was included and really good. I definitely recommend this place.
