Great Balinese style

Staff in the restaurant is great. The pool area is really nice. Bathroom was good!

We just had a few challenges with the people at the reception. - It was raining a lot when we checked out so we asked if we could borrow an umbrella for 2-3 hours before heading to the airport. We couldn’t.. - Before arriving we informed whether it was possible to check out a few hours later, upon arrival this was only possible against payment (guess it’s fair if the hotel is full..). - We got ‘upgraded’ to a family room (3 beds in a plain room) but we’d booked a nice deluxe room. So nothing major, but it just didn’t feel like the Balinese hospitality we felt during the rest of our 5 week stay in this lovely country! Also keep in mind the hotel is located in one of the busiest areas in Bali. This means some noise and a lot of traffic. It took us an hour to get to the airport, would have been the same if we’d walked.

In general it was good, clean and ok for a few nights.

To mark, it is not a 4 start hotel, it is a 3 star hotel, so booking.com is not updated well with the information. Mainly the smell from the bathroom, all sounds from the door, you can hear everything from behind the main door. We also had a balcony door with gaps (not exactly aligned), so the sounds from the street too.

Loved this place, so close to everything. Facilities are clean & tidy, staff are amazing...cool place to stay. Traditional Balinese hotel 👌

Lighting in the room...that's it. Could be brighter.
