Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites Summerside

The property has great potential but very worn down. Simple updates would go a long way. The owners need to invest a bit of money into this property.

le lit et les oreillers était peu confortable, mais pour 2 nujits ca pouvait faire l'affaire. nous n'avons pas été informé de ce que nous pouvions avoir accès, exemple, es ce que nous aurions pu avoir accès à des collations, de la glace, etc. on m'a donné la clé et sans plus.

The TV worked. The location was somewhat convenient.

Felt like a hotel you would see on Dateline. The place is very dated. Was on 2nd story and was hoping the decking was secure, had a lean to it. Electric sockets and lightswitches were painted over (handyman special). The strong odor of Frebreeze hits you and never goes away, even if you open the door. The window could not open, no screen, no handle to open. Small AC unit that worked, but filter was filthy. Flooring and curtains were newer, but lamp, table, wall art, chairs, and bedframe from 80s. For the price, I felt it should have at least been modernized to the early 2000s. I suspect the other side of the complex had long-term residents..so I did not feel very safe. I think folks were sleeping in a herse car in the parking lot. Just creepy. Breakfast not included, but apparently, coffee in the lobby loft. I didn't use the in-room coffee pot as no one ever should when I have seen videos of people washing underwater in those things. A Kurig would be best. Just a suggestion.

1. No door on second bedroom 2. Light by bed in second bedroom didn't work..the only light in the room 3. The plug in in second bedroom didn't work. 4. Dirty kleenex behind bedside table in second bedroom 5. No towel racks in bathroom 6. A knife in utility tray was dirty 7. Pots in kitchen..only 2 small ones were old and scuffed..the Teflon was worn off.

The family owned property was very clean & well kept for being an older facility. Very quiet. Recently updated, and economical for all families. Camera footage so secure at all times. Easy access to Summerside & close to PEI bridge.

You must drive to get anywhere else. Summerside is a good central location We stayed in a suite that slept 6. You would expect there to be enough dishes and forks for the group. But no. Clean enough but tired looking. 2 star
