Rocabella Mykonos Hotel

The aesthetic of the hotel and the view were highlights. On check in I told reception we were separate, but instead of treating me as a separate entity they decided to show the two friends I came with my room first. After checking out I found out they billed what should have been billed to my room to their room. My room was smaller than theirs, which was upsetting as I know we paid the same price. The bathroom door had a lock but didn’t lock. Its outward swing blocked the circulation of the room. The drawers either wouldn’t work or would get jammed and fall out. The quality of house keeping to turn over my room was poor. Clumps of hair left by the sink. Furniture was left askew. Never left more toothpaste or q-tips when I finished what was originally given on check-in. My requests through WhatsApp were granted. There was a friendly cat on site.

Comfortable stay, due to miscommunication our complimentary drinks ended up being billed to the room which caught us off guard. The staff are friendly and very accessible through WhatsApp, rooms are clean, breakfast is yummy! If you are planning to rent vehicles it is a great place to be as the area is not very walkable.

The staff from the reception desk, house keeping, concierge, restaurant were excellent. Everyone very friendly and willing to help. The room was kept clean all the time. Nothing was too much for any one of them. Not forgetting the hotel transport drivers they were really nice and always available when needed transport using hotel transport/shuttle. My stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable mainly because of the hospitality myself, my daughter & my sister received.

The rooms position and front desk

If you go late in season they were very light on fully trained staff and derive with exception of front desk was poor for this class of hotel

Hotel was amazing, views were incredible, the staff were so nice and attentive. The food was amazing and the breakfast was great, a mix between a la carte hot food and continental buffet. Hotel is about 10 mins by car from Mykonos town and 5 minutes from the Port. There weren’t too many restaurants around outside of the hotel but the beach at Agios Stefanos was a 10 min walk down the hill and had a supermarket and few nice restaurants and bars. Would definitely recommend Rocabella if you are looking for a relaxing holiday with the option to visit some more of the island. Rocabella has a car/taxi service that is easy to book and will take you anywhere you want to go for a good price.

The pool and the view is what you are paying for. They are great, but I wouldn’t say this hotel is 5 star. More like a 3-4 it’s also pretty expensive and not worth the price they charge. The food was mediocre at best. And the neighbors gave us a noise complaint on a Saturday night for chatting on the phone on the balcony. Overall nice place, staff was friendly but not worth the price. Will not stay again

Beautiful ambiance, relaxing, clean. Has private parking if you rent a car. Very friendly staff. Concierge service.

The view isn't great

We loved it here, outside all the noise with amazing sea views. Staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. Breakfast buffet could have a few more options but as you can pick the cooked bfast I think it's perfect this way. Tom the cat is amazing addition to this place, we miss him already and hope someone takes him during the winter time. We had dinner and drink at sunset time and food was delicious, drinks on point and views so much better than those expensive sunset bar with crazy minimum spend per person. Here you are loooked after rather than rushed about. We recommend this hotel. Town is just a few minutes drive and a nice little bay round the corner too.

The plunge pool water was too hot, perhaps some clients want that but we prefer a nice chilled temperature. Perhaps they offer the option, we didn't ask and just went in outside the hot hours of the day.
