Ein sehr schönes Hotel, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Zu lange warten am Frühstück bis bedienung kommt, Kaffee ist fast jedes mal 20 bis 30 Minuten nach der Bestellung gekommen. Mangel Hafter service beim Frühstück. Wir dürfen trotz Anfrage nicht mal 30 Minuten länger bleiben als üblicher checkout. Zimmer service extrem teuer und dauert zu lange.

Well what can I say.....was expectong so , so much more, and all i can think of is , is it really 5 star or maybe it just thinks it is . Faded room carpets , inconsitent food offerings , insufficient pool area facilities (very much so), dogs barking througout the night , residence at rear of building blasting out music all day , everyday, and a community open area 200m away with 5 out of 7 nightly music performances blasting in your ears whether you like it or not....and I could go on ..... Relaxing its not, and prior to booking we asked for a quiet room , away from road noise and we got the exact opposite. Cascais though is lovley and perhaps hotel and community needs to get together and work out a plan that meets everyones needs?!

Beautiful hotel with great service and amazing breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed, and bed linens were some of the most comfortable ever, including the pillows. So comfy! The room was huge. Breakfast pastries were delicious. The pool chairs were nice and comfy.

The hotel is tired. I am sure it was quite something a decade ago or more. The towels are dingy gray (vs. white). Carpet in the room was stained in several places. The bath products smell like dirty panties and cinammon (I know! Yuck). The pool service, while prompt, was ridiculously expensive. A 10-12 oz. plastic cup of Coke was 6€. On my last day there, I was charged 18€ for two sodas at the pool. Not three: two. Outrageous. My room was on the delivery alley (#422). Delivery trucks were outside w engines running and delivery guys yakking until after 1:00 a.m. two of the four nights I was there. At $500/night for this "five star," but tired, dated and not very clean hotel, I would not stay there again. Nor would I recommend. Decent location, but too far too walk to town center.
