Oban Inn

Oban Inn was a perfect location to enjoy our two day stay in Niagara on the Lake. My one regret was accidentally booking on Expedia instead of the inns website because I believe we would have really preferred our room to be in the inn instead of one of the rooms with an outside entrance by the pool. My bad - but the room was fine and we really liked everything about the Oban Inn. Easy walk into the main street and nice to be not right on the main busier street. We ate our second night in the Inn's restaurant and it was excellent. We highly recommend you book your visit to Niagara on the Lake at the Oban Inn.

Short walk to the centre of Niagara on the Lake, The building and grounds are lovely and well kept. The 'library' at the end of the second floor is a beautiful room where you can read or scroll through your phone or computer, surrounded by built-in bookshelves, wainscotting and good books.

Listed as dog friendly bit should state that you must advise in advance. Need to phone them

Rooms were tiny and filled with useless heavy black furniture very depressing. Sink in bathroom drained very slowly. The bar was awful again dark cumbersome furniture with no warmth or enticement to spend time there. The lobby was set up like a shop for spa products complete with “spa music”. Very overpriced for what they provided. I would not recommend it.

Lovely inn!

We travel with our 85-lb. dog, so many hotels don't want us at all. Oban Inn welcomed us warmly into 306 with our own private porch and semi-private backyard with LOTS of squirrels to drive our four-legged angel crazy. The inn is 200 years old but our accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit!

Did not realize we were booked into Oban House, annex. Staff took us to room did nor show or tell us about lobby space, restaurant or grounds. Felt like second class citizens and not cheep!

Great location, grounds were excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive.

This Inn offers a comfortable base for exploring Niagara on the Lake but misses on small points. The entry is overly focused on a spa experience and misses the welcome to a boutique Inn. Our experience found staff efficient but not very welcoming. The room was comfortable but tired and the dining option was overshadowed with price gouging (a somewhat common theme in the area). Overall the Oban Inn was comfortable but not remarkable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oban Inn. The gardens were beautiful, the staff was friendly and the location was both scenic and convenient.
