"Large resort that has lots to offer"

The hotel overall as well as the room itself was very welcoming. Our room had a little kitchenette with everything we needed. The room had modern furniture and was of good size. The A/C was working very well. It is located right at the cliff and offers fun areas to explore. The hotel itself offers restaurants and there are some good food options in the area.

This is part of a larger hotel complex and walking distances to the front desk and amenities are quite far. Quite small pools and ocean access is only via the neighboring facilities. Not enough parking options for such a big hotel.

"good value, a bit too large complex"

beautiful location/view. Helpful staff. Comfortable large beds. Excellent a la carte restaurant within. 10 min drive from airport, very close by Funchal as well. Overall, good value for money. We have expected airplanes approaching landing would make noise, but they were far enough so no issue. Great swimming pools, lots of space on the decks, and direct access to the sea with rescue personnel is nice.

Room cleanness could be a it better. Some hair of previous guests on the floor. Bathroom is quite worn. Bed was clean and nice though. Parking of hotel turns out to be at extra cost. In the end we got lucky it was weekend and the regular street parking was for free. Staff helped with this tip. Coffee in the buffet restaurant where breakfast was served, is instant coffee, quite low quality, sadly. Same for juices, diluted syrup style. Direct neighbor was very loud on their balcony. Not the hotel's fault really, but the rooms, though look isolated due to the wall between the balconies, in fact are not. Direct entrance with unlocked main door and no receptionist in the Cais part means anyone can in principle walk into the hotel, no questions asked. A bit strange. But we had no issue.

Everything was great!

Breakfast was way too busy, with wait times and very uncomfortable Very hard to park the car around here
