The Rose Hotel

The Rose is without question our 'go to' hotel in Tralee. Ample parking, lovely and helpful staff, great food options, and overall friendly vibe. Been staying here over the past 10 years, and has not disappointed yet! Must walk to town centre, but an easy walk through the beautiful town park.

It was a lot of money for a fairly standard room.

I recently attended a birthday party at The Rose Hotel and the experience was genuinely excellent from start to finish. The room provided for the celebration was beautifully presented—spacious, well-lit, and arranged in a way that made the event feel both intimate and special. The hotel team had clearly put thought into the setup, from table layout to subtle decorative touches, which really elevated the atmosphere for a birthday gathering. A particular highlight was the service from Aileen and Niamh, who were outstanding throughout the event. They were attentive without being intrusive, consistently checking in at the right moments and handling requests quickly and professionally. Their friendliness set a warm tone for the entire evening and made guests feel genuinely looked after rather than just served. The food was another strong point. Everything arrived well-timed, hot, and nicely presented. The quality was excellent. Overall, it was a really positive experience—great atmosphere, excellent organisation, and standout service from Aileen and Niamh, all of which made the birthday celebration feel easy, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly recommend checking the Rose out for a party!

I recently attended a party at The Rose Hotel and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The venue itself was beautiful, with a great atmosphere that really made the night feel special. Aileen and Niamh truly stood out – they were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire event. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they made sure everything ran smoothly while making guests feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. The service, food, and overall organisation were top-class. I would highly recommend The Rose Hotel for any event, and I’m already looking forward to the next occasion there!

I was at a party in the Rose Buí room in the hotel this weekend and it was exceptional. Ample parking on outskirts of Tralee town, large hotel with beautiful decor throughout. The group were brought to a beautiful private room to wait for the main guest. Room was warm, big windows and comfortable furniture and space to circulate. Aileen and Niamh were looking after the group and all of us were so well looked after. Aileen, Niamh and the team took drink orders, including cocktails and offered full table service. The food platters were incredible and varied. 5 star service in beautiful surroundings in a stunning hotel. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was good it definitely met our needs.
