Stayed just for a night while on a driving trip and was completely satisfied. The woman at the desk at check in was very friendly. I was solo, so the room was plenty spacious for me. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, decent breakfast. It’s just a short drive into town and to the lake, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a single night or a longer stay.

"Avoid - HVAC equipment overpowers the room with loud, boomy sound pollution"

3rd floor room has presumably roof mounted HVAC machinery above it. It’s loud and low frequency boomy, sounds like “woo woo woo” at a 1Hz frequency. Obnoxious. Never heard anything like this in 100’s of stays in a variety of hotels. It’s heard pretty much all over the third floor. Sounds like a helicopter hovering above. Reception claims the hotel is full despite the car lot being half empty so no choice but to suffer it all night. No sleep for me. How about you fix this Best Western and don’t rent these rooms until you do. Unacceptable.

Our room was fine,, and the bed was comfortable. However, the Jacuzzi tub did not work. The breakfast was not good. The sausage looked like it was about 10 days old and burnt. The eggs and potatoes were also old and gross. Going out for breakfast next time.
