Su Nido Inn

Really nice rooms and property with a gated courtyard with nice trees and seating areas. Not sure about the "resort fee" as there were no amenities - just some bikes and a pool at a sister hotel you would have to drive too (we did not). It is a short walk to the main street, but there are limited things to see and do and dining choices are few and far between - we did enjoy the walk on the recreation trail (Ojai Valley Trail) and found a couple of nice wine tasting spots in town (Ojai Vineyard and Majestic Oak).

Bathtub and shower water did not get particularly as warm/hot as we’d liked it to.

Sink wasn't draining, room was outdated, not enough towels in the room.

Way too expensive for what it was. Room had a musty smell and upholstered furniture was well worn and dirty. It all should be replaced. Staff was not accomodating. My parents who were also staying were given an upstairs room. I let them know that my father was disabled and was told there were no other rooms available which was not the case. They ended up having to switch to a ground floor room later which caused us to be late to the event we were in town for. Also they would not accommodate even a slightly early check in or out over the phone even though when we arrived/left it wouldn't have been an issue. Stay somewhere else.

What a nice cozy suite! Great location…walkable to restaurants and shops. We loved the beautiful courtyard outside our room with flowers and fountains.

The suite 6, Raven Suite, ground floor was vety nice.. good quality furnishings, bed was extremely comfortable, bathroom lovely,, 2 big screen TVs. Central AC worked very well. Lovely fireplace but we did not need as it was warm. This property is either new or newly upgraded and the owners spent some serious money on that remodel. Lovely open courtyard with fountain. Very quiet location. Spas nearby.. Location was perfect. We could walk to everything we wanted to do except the dinner we attended at the Ojai Valley Inn. I'd rather stay at Su Nido again.

Not a deal breaker by any means but hard to tell from pictures on website if there was a real stove. The kitchenette is really an enhanced wet bar. No stove in Raven suite. Sink w/ cabinets, some plates and cutlery, 2 glasses 2 mugs, 2 bowls , 2 plates. Toaster and microwave but no hot plate or stove. Reheat only.. Refrigerator was really like a 30 bottle wine fridge. Kurigcoffee machine but there is the best Ojai coffee shop/roaster 2 blocks south. Go there.

The location was in walking distance to shops, restaurants and concert venue.

I didn’t know when I booked that there was no pool. The sister hotel location included a pool but it was tiny.

I liked the setup of the property. The issues were spiders in the bedroom.

Incredible service and great room. Doug, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Room is great and though no pool is listed, there is access to a pool. Great location to restaurants and such.
