Sandy Shore Motel

Looked like a yr of food and dirt under the bed. Turned on shower and shower head fell off. Couldn't shower. Bathroom sink wouldnt drain. Tv wouldnt turn on. Filthy beyond belief. No one in office at night after 9pm to fix issues.

Excellent location and staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Friendly staff. Walkable to shops and dining. Private beach with bar. Rooms were clean, updated. Comfortable beds. Just a few minor issues for me, no in room coffee maker, low shower water pressure and no blackout shades. Would stay here again.

Celebrating my Birthday

Nice beach and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable.. my only complaint is when they say each unit has a balcony or patio this is only the motel walkway not a private area.

They do not provide hair dryer. When we arrived we had an extra roll of toilet paper but when we needed it, it was gone. Housekeeping must have taken it to give to another room. Housekeeping also took my shower cap that I brought from home since I knew the Motel did not supply them.

We arrived to the area a day early and they had a room available for Friday night only. Basic room on the 2nd floor. Sliding glass door to get into the room, no other windows. We were in the parking lot side but the deck did wrap around so we checked out the ocean. The room was small but it was clean. A/C worked great. The sink area was outside the bathroom which was a plus. We walked up the street and had a wonderful dinner at Andrea’s in the ocean. We would go back.

There was absolutely no where to park on arrival. However the staff was actively working to resolve cars that didnt beling on the property. I reccomend never going on a weekend day during the summer. Very loud and crowded with cigareette and pot smell every where. Would not had had a problem if it was only allowed at the outside bar. The worst part was blood on our sheets and when the replacement sheets were brought to us we were offered a round of drinks from the bar and no other compensation. Which was completely unfortuate since that set the tone for our stay. The staff was very friendly but it did not make up for the sheet incident.

The freshly made beds had sand in between the sheets The people partied outside my room until 2 AM on a weekday Low class establishment, low class patrons however the air conditioner worked great

I like the fact that the motel is right on the ocean I had I can go in the air conditioning come back. I’m ready.
