Castle Leslie Estate

Castle Leslie is unique in my experience. Set in the pretty village of Glaslough it offers a wonderful collection of accommodation options (castle, lodge, converted stables, self catering units) in rolling countryside with lakes and woods. The restaurant is excellent. Service is efficient and courteous. We stayed at the Lodge. Have already booked a room in the Castle for later in the year. Their website is most informative with video clips of individual rooms and historical notes. Pricey but well worth it.

What a beautiful Castle estate. Our room was extremely quiet and comfortable. It was a pleasure to be able to walk the grounds and the stables and check out all the horses. We would highly recommended this place to stay. Staff we very helpfull and friendly.

We stayed at Castle Leslie for my sister's birthday. Unfortunately we didn't realize we were staying at the lodge until we got there. We booked well over a year ago and were not able to get into the castle I guess. My sister was VERY disappointed but we still enjoyed our stay. We were in the Sundae room and it was very nice. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very excellent too. We enjoyed being able to walk around the grounds and pet the horses. Staying in a castle was a must for our trip to Ireland. We got close but not quite what we wanted. Next time! Dinner in the bar was very good.

Really enjoyed our stay in Castle Leslie. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spotlessly clean and bed was really comfortable . Food in Conor's bar was delicious. Lovely estate for walking .

Attended a friends wedding, we stayed in the lodge the night before and night of the wedding. Rooms were amazing, staff were courteous and helpful from arrival to we left. Food was excellent.

Staff were very friendly Hotel was beautiful Dining was first Class!!!

Stayed in Castle. Old plumbing. No shower. Constant running tap in sink. Wasn't repaired even though requested. Out of date 100 year old plumbing that needs replaced.

I return to here a couple of times a year. I love the ambiance location facilities and the beautiful estate.

very nice relaxing one night trip, room was lovely,and decent breakfast , just wish they had high quality meats in the fry as it can make such a difference but it was lovely non the less.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, great location! Will definitely comeback. Only one minor downside was the bad weather :-)
