Borgo Sant'ippolito Country Hotel

Il borgo è bellissimo e la piscina è l'ideale per una mezza o un'intera giornata di sole in mezzo alla campagna.

Non trovo niente di negativo da segnalare a parte che la stanza assegnata non aveva un affaccio ideale, ma non mi ricordo se era stato specificato. Comunque per il mio soggiorno era perfetta ugualmente.

This is a delightful hotel with the most amazing and helpful staff. The whole building has been tastefully renovated and rooms are lovely. The property is just off a main route out of Florence, which makes it easy to get to Florence, Pisa, Chianti region and the rest of Tuscany - as long as you have transport. Breakfasts were very good with inside and outside seating. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds and gazebos. They have a little spa facility and they bring in an outstanding masseuse if you book. I like a good massage and we live in Thailand, yet this is one of the best massages we have ever experienced - I had hot stone and my wife had office syndrome and acupressure. You are a 10-20 minute journey from the main trainline (depending on the station you want to go from) and this runs Florence-Pisa and beyond (train system is excellent too). Incredible restaurant just across the road, so don't be put off by not having a restaurant on-site. There is a bar service in the hotel so you can have drinks - alcoholic, non-alcoholic, coffee, etc. I think that is a 24 hour service?

For us, this was an excellent stay. The only thing that might temper this is if you do not have your own transport so getting off this site might be a bit more challenging.

This was the last stop of our trip with a toddler and what stood out most: the staff was amazing and so sweet. We had an early arrival which was no problem, could choose the room that we liked most and the way they spoke to our child was so nice. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Also good transport options to Florence centre.

Beim Frühstück hat so was wie Paprika oder Gurke gefehlt. Frischen Joghurt gibt es nicht. Nur aus dem Becher.. Klimaanlage musste von der Rezeption mehrmals manuell gestartet werden.

It was a beautiful property. The staff were so nice and hospitable.

The water from the shower leaked onto the floor making it slippery.
