A Stone's Throw Away

The hotel is beautiful and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Unfortunately, our room smelled of mold, which made it hard to sleep. We did not have a rental car, and at one point I walked to a nearby café which turned out to be closed. On the way there, I was nervous because there’s no sidewalk and so cars zip right next to you. On the way back, I decided to walk back along the beach to avoid the cars, but wound up coming across a crazy guy on the beach with his hand down his pants, who started following me. I ran for my life and at the door to the hotel I’d stupidly forgotten my key and they took their sweet time buzzing me in and didn’t ask why I was screaming “help,” but nevermind. I never leave bad reviews but felt compelled to share this experience. If staying here it’s better to have a rental car or take a taxi. The beach nearby is not safe and not a place you could swim anyways as it’s all volcanic rock with a little bit of sand. The view from the terrace is spectacular, though.

Lovely property. Be prepared to walk up a ton of stairs. I mean, a LOT of them. Other than that, it was a great spot for our overnight stay in Nassau before leaving for another island the next day.

The view was incredible and we really enjoyed our stay! The food at the hotel was delicious. Only downside was the management not answering the phone from our room.

This was the best experience ever!! The staff is absolutely amazing! Yes there are lots of stairs but didn’t bother us. It’s very private and the view is breathtaking. We’ll be back!

Lousy service…no help with bags for a 5 flight entry to reception. Water pressure was not adequate and no temperature control in the shower.

Unique boutique hotel. Staff is excellent.
