Lobby was great

The bed was too firm. At 11:30pm people in the next room were having a gathering. We could not get to sleep. I called the front desk. The lady on the desk said that she would come and deal with the neighbors. They were quiet for about 10 minutes. At 12:30 am, I called the front desk again. The lady said that she would come up and speak to them. She did not come up. We immediately heard their phone ring. After a loud thump on our wall, they did get a little quieter for about 10 minutes. At 1am, I went down to the front desk an demanded another room. We were worried about our safety and lack of sleep. We were moved to a better room on another floor. The bed was much better. The area around the room was quiet!! There seemed to be a lack of security in the hotel. We understood why the very young lady on the desk was reluctant to do more contact with the noisy people. At the desk in the morning, the person there asked us about our stay. When I told her how bad it was, she did not seem concerned at all! As a result of our late night, we did not arrive at breakfast until about one half hour before it closed. The peameal bacon was totally dried out. One bagel was left. At best the breakfast was mediocre. We have stayed at many hotels. This was our worst experience ever!

Do not book this location for a wedding to save yourself significant inconvenience. Having blocked rooms for a wedding the rooms were not secured as promised within the cut off date for booking. 100 guests with nowhere to stay. Management unhelpful.

The location is good with ample parking.

Felt very unwelcome with difficulty enjoying the stay every morning as we were asked to request for replacement coffee pods each morning, and had to repeatedly state the number of nights’ stay & number of guests, including how many are drinking coffee, despite booking for 4 nights with 4 adults. Even had to often explain to the front desk why we’re declining the housekeeping due to having an emotional support pet dog in the hotel room. It’s as if client registration is not accessible to their front desk, as number of guests, number of nights stay, and reason for requests had to be provided each morning. Also, the soap disintegrated completely in a few uses and they haven’t changed amenities to more earth friendly options for shampoo etc. The experience ruined the family vacation, will most likely not return to this hotel.
