Sun God Lodge

The room was as shown in the ad. However, the mini blinds had been damaged. To prevent anyone from looking into the room, a newspaper page was taped to the window. Why not just fix it? The grounds were lacking in care and upkeep. There were weeds knee high in most of the flower beds. What a disappointment. This motel could be really great with some care and a little work.

Room was cute and charming. There was no AC, which wasn't so bad for September, but still very warm. Was supposed to be a hot tub but it was closed and full of leaves (outdoor) so i doubt it gets opened much. Building was run down. Night reception staff was friendly, morning staff not so much. Think we could have done better.

The hotel was so run down we did not stay. I am waiting for my refund (promised) from hotels.com. The photos on line were beautiful so I was most disappointed to see stucco falling of the walls, litter, unswept stairwells, faded comforters and sagging beds.

It's getting old. Stayed there occasionally 15-20 years ago and will again.

For a tourist town the cost was about the cheapest in town. The room was advertised as a queen bed, but only had a double. The outdoor hot tub looked to have been broken for some time. Cable TV only worked some of the time. All this being said, a sub $100 in a tourist town on a holiday weekend would make this stay acceptable.

Pretty tacky. I have never been in a room with all the lights on that was so dark. We asked where the ice machine was and were told they didn't have any ice but might get some later. Saw only one other car there.

Old, old motel - not up to standard. Shower control didn't work. Needed a good cleaning around edges of the room. Would not stay there again. Not worth what it cost.

It was great

First room had no hot water. Over all run down. Nice staff. Good location. Bathrooms specifically good use a refresh.
