Very nice property. Connivence of shopping with Target store nearby.

Luncheon meals were too dry! I don’t eat chicken but those who do complained that the chicken was dry. Need better options for vegetarian meals. Dried out vegetables is not a meal.

I booked a deluxe junior suite, under the name Smart, to propose to my girlfriend. Choosing this location was a terrible idea idea. It started by them giving us a room that had used dirty plastic utensils on the from a previous stay on the floor, a stain that was still hard to the touch and crusted over as well as mysterious holes in the ceiling right above the bed. I told them I'm here to propose to my girlfriend and I was told that I could be moved to a smaller room without even the courtesy of an apology or any type of understanding. The following morning the front desk was told by management to tell me that I could not use any of the publicly accessible lobbies or Terrace in order to propose because I had not contacted sales. It was just the two of us . I needed one nice place to bend the knee because of possible rain at the Morton Arboretum . Outside of their event coordinator Lindsey who was fantastic and seem to be willing to bend over backwards to help me pull this off, this entire stay was extremely disappointing , from the terrible room they gave us to the fact that management told us there wasn't a single open publicly accessible area I could use without purchasing some kind of service. I wasn't asking to use a ballroom, I wanted to use the Terrorist on the side of the building which everyone has access to. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you need a hotel in a pinch., not a problem but there's no way I would ever trust this place to do anything significant. Absolutely minimum effort outside of Lindsay and the breakfast station attendant Rosita who was a delight. ........ the CAA in Chicago was more than accommodating. With one phone call they were able to set a small dinner table with candles. Interesting
