La Quinta by Wyndham Ruidoso Downs

Hot tub and pool were not heated !!!!

This hotel is currently under renovation, but the areas that we access were in good shape. The breakfast was hot and fresh every day with good choices. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We had a renovated room and it was very nice. They have undergone some natural disasters in the past few months to years so the updates Are definitely needed. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and it is reasonably priced.

Dirty place.

Went for an over night and got ants a clogged toilet with no plunger, no maintenance, and a front desk that said they were in training and lied about their name. When a manager was finally talked to the next day they said my wife was a lier and would not refund us since they didn't have another room. We ended up driving back to Albuquerque rather than stay the night. Since we were told "you can use the restroom down the hall". They were rude and didn't even have a plunger on hand. Had to get one from the plumbers working in the area. Wont be going again or recommending to anyone.

We only stayed one night but the hotel is right off the main road and easy to get in and out of. The La Quinta provides a quick getaway for us desert dwellers to get up to the mountains and enjoy the cool mountain air!

Dirty laundry washcloth over shower curtain. Chip crumbs on desk when we got there. Coffee in bfast bar tasted burnt. Furniture in room was worse than a flea market- desk chair upholstery split, wooden tables beaten up. Bed linens & towels thin and worn. Very disappointing experience all around.

The upstairs room I stayed in I could hear All the traffic from the street. I wasn’t allowed to move to another room bc I booked it thru this booking

The room had a door that was unsafe the bathroom floors was coming up
