Hotel Stadt Balingen

Wir waren auf der Durchreise, Lage und Frühstück entsprachen unseren Erwartungen

Whilst the reception area is still a bit of a time capsule and provides a glimpse into the hotel‘s history, the rooms are very modern, tastefully renovated with new bathrooms and modern, simplistic and well designed fittings. Only downside to would be that the rooms have no aircon (at least I didn’t find one) , so hot summer nights could become painful, as keeping the windows open may not be an option given the proximity to the freeway. The bed was very comfortable Staff at reception and the breakfast were superb and the buffet offering for breakfast is more than you’d expect from a business hotel. .

Good size room, comfortable bed and great breakfast selection, very friendly staff in a convenient location.

Bathroom is very small, so hand basin is in the actual room, which is a bit strange. Tea making facilities are on the communal corridor which took a bit getting used to.
