Hotel Stadt Balingen

Ein sauberes schönes Hotel, auf jedem Stockwerk kann man dich Kaffee umsonst machen, die Zimmer und Einrichtung ist neu. Bad, Dusche sauber und neu.

The rooms are very modern and had complimentary water. The shower is large and strong, comfy beds, good breakfast and friendly staff. The only issue I had was the room was quite hot and I had to open the windows which otherwise do a good job of keeping the road noise out.

Excellent hotel on the edge of the town... Stayed here while playing the local rock festival BYH and cant fault the place. Nice rooms, good beds and decor and the breakfast was very nice. All helped by having some of the most pleasant staff Ive met in a hotel.

Local hotel, cosy and modern design. Free internet and car park, the breakfast is great. Also, I had a quiet night and good rest. Is definetely a very good option in Balingen, I already stayed in 3 different hotels in the city, and this is my favorite.

The hotel is really nice, the staff is helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good! They were cleaning the room every day! The location is good and the hotel has parking! I highly recommend it!

Nice Hotel for business stays. Friendly people, nice breakfast. Rooms are renewed to a high standard. Bathroom small but high standard and nice shower. Comfortable bed and very clean room. They are still working in the hotel but they do it in a way there is no discomfort for the guests.

Der Aufenthalt war recht unkompliziert und stabil. Eben schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Was ich allerdings komisch fand, ist dass mir im Voraus nicht mitgeteilt wurde, dass die Rezeption an den Wochenenden nicht regelmäßig besetzt ist und man sich telefonisch über die Ankunftszeit anmelden muss.

Am Hotel sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden, man wird freundlich begrüßt und der Check-in verläuft schnell und unkompliziert. Die Zimmer, insbesondere das Badezimmer, sind sehr sauber und werden täglich gereinigt. Das Inventar ist schon ein bisschen in die Tage gekommen (Design), aber Matratze war neu und einen gewissen Charm hatten die 90er auch ;) Einzigst die Servicepauschale, über Expedia, von 12€ für das Frühstück erscheinen mir etwas übertrieben. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist vielfältig und der Frühstücksraum schön, aber 12€ für selbstaufgebackene Brötchen und Croissants? Naja, ich habe auf das Frühstück verzichtet und den Aufenthalt genossen, werde demnächst wieder nach Balingen reisen müssen und wieder in diesem Hotel gastieren, allerdings wieder ohne Frühstück.

I stayed 2 nights in a single room. It was small but it was clean and provided everything I needed, including free internet and a comfortable bed. The hotel is right next to the highway, so if you leave the windows open, it can be quite noisy. The private bathroom was clean. Although adequate in size, the shower was a bit tight when you close the doors (and you'll get water everywhere if you don't close the glass doors). I'm rather skinny, but if you're on the larger side, you will be cramped in the shower. There is no bathtub. I did not eat at the hotel, so I'm not sure how the food is.

Check-in was fast and the staff was very friendly. The room was a fine size, large enough, but it had no air conditioning, which made sleeping unbearable on a hot July night. There were two small bottles of free water, but it was so hot in the room that larger bottles would have been most welcome. The bathroom is tiny but adequate for one person. The shower/tub combo had mold in the tile grout and on the ceiling, unfortunately. The water pressure was good and the hot water stayed hot. The hotel has a lift/elevator. Each floor had a table with bottled water and tea & coffee preparations--though better to have those in the rooms, it was a nice touch in the hallway. The WiFi was horrid; it would work for a minute and then not at all for 20 minutes, rendering the WiFi completely useless. It would take that one connected minute (plus) just to load a web page. Why can't hotels sort out good wireless connections for their guests? Breakfast was decent with the usual hotel spread; plus, they offered cooked-to-order eggs. Parking was free in their small lot. I might stay here again if it was any other time but summer, but I'd probably choose another hotel.
