I mistakenly left behind in the closet on hangers which I had brought a new Talbots size S blouse (value $89) and 2 male Nautica tops that were in very good condition. I rang the hotel yesterday (Sunday) at 4:05 (we'd checked out at 9:40) and inquired about them and was told that he would check with Housekeeping and let me know as soon as he found out. No one rang last night. I telephoned again this morning (Monday) and was told to ring back in 10 minutes as he (Reception) would check again. He did ring but said he'd checked, and they could not find them. I conveyed my absolute displeasure, and I said that we would be contacting Bookings.

The entry area and lobby look nice, but the foyer smelled badly of Body Odor for some reason. It wasn't transitory - smelled from first entrance and still stinky the next day when we left. The cleanliness of the room was poor; the sheets had yellow stains, there was light debris on the carpet and quite a lot of black hair stuck to the walls in the shower and some on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet so we got a good night's sleep there even though cleanliness of the room left us kinda grossed out. There were also three people hanging around outside and at least one checked in that I would describe as crackheads. Hyperactive to the point of vibrating and wild-eyed. Don't know if this hotel is housing transients for some reason but that's my suspicion. Also the worst 'included breakfast' ever. It's essentially all the stuff you can get pre-packaged and cold at a gas station. Plus a pancake machine. Coffee was hot and fine, but 'ewwww' to the rest. All the staff I encountered were friendly, but recommend passing on this one if you have options. It's overpriced for the quality.

Everything at that hotel was cheaply made and presented, and it smelled. The entry smelled and was not very clean. I paid for a queen size suite but was given a full size bed suite instead. A very small TV bolted to the wall in a messy way, they could have done a better job with that. It was nice having a kitchenette but there was nothing, such as utensils to use. The refrigerator did not work well. I put a salad in there but the next day it was frozen and the ice cream melted being in the freezer. Their breakfast, leave a lot to be desired. There wasn't a lot of choices at all. The bathroom needed to have a tub mat. It was so slippery that I fell and hurt myself. I ended up leaving the hotel early.
