The staff were friendly and the hotel grounds were nice, except the landscaping in the front was overgrown. The breakfast nook is small and hard to navigate. The interior of this hotel os in desperate need of a down to the studs remodel and update. There was black mold/mildew in all the surfaces around the shower in the bathroom and the room itself had a strange odor. The mattresses and box springs were encapsulated which was a relief because of another review I saw that mentioned bed bugs! We only stayed one night so, it was only a minimum inconvenience for me.

Nothing to like here.

Red-head girl at check-in had terrible attitude and charged an additional $50.00 to my card WITHOUT informing me. After I questioned it, she stated (incorrectly) that all hotels do it as a deposit and that it would "fall off" eventually. Thus far it has not, and the extra charge remains. I received no receipt. When I asked for a receipt in the morning, I received one for the originally agreed price MINUS the additional $50.00. So, I paid $128.00, (was supposed to be $78.00) and received a receipt for $78.00. Hysterical. Still waiting on that 50. Absolutely filthy room. Did not want to touch anything. Disgustingly dirty.
