The Aventis Inn

Can't beat the price for a nights stay and typically we don't use the room other for showering and sleeping. Just outside of Ocean City, so if you don't mind having to drive to the beach and find a parking spot its a nice cheap clean way to spend time at the beach.

Could use some minor updates like new beds and our sink was damaged near the drain.

Quaint, quiet and location!

Being asked if I took a cleaning ladies tip!! I did not appreciate being asked that! Especially when I arrived to the room and it was not cleaned yet. I went to inform the owner. When I returned to my car, a male worker was exiting the room. I did not hear the owner ask him if he took her money! I left a tip upon exiting the room! I hope the proper person gets the tip,🙏🏾🌎

A little warm when I checked in, but after adjusting the A/C it got better. The room was clean. Staff accommodating. The parking was fine.

Hotel is dated and smelled stuffy. The blankets were stained and had cigarette burn marks. The place itself is shady and the property is not kept up. It was a last minute booking and nothing else was available. The sheets and pillow cases were clean. It's across the street from a couple of restaurants and a liquor store. You're five minutes away from Ocean City. It served it's purpose but I can't say I would return.

I liked staying in this motel. It is neat,clean and probably renovated recently. The cleaning service is daily, which is nice.

Parking is a bit tight

Not the most personable desk clerk (almost felt like I was intruding) - 15 min into arrival my door was knocked on, and before I could get to it, the door began to open (it was housekeeping) They seemed confused as to why the unit did not need serviced. There is no chain lock on door just the door lock and dead bolt mechanism, therefore housekeeping or whomever could have just walked right in had I been showering or whatever.. so Security is lacking. THAT SAID: The unit was clean, spacious, beds firm but comfortable, pillows flat and over used, towels clean but dingy. Overall, for the low price, it is very acceptable, quiet, safe location, easy access. I may try another place next time, but would not be opposed to staying again.
