V Boutique Hotel

Loved the hotel! Very quiet, cozy and friendly staff.

It's a quiet, centrally located place; it is a bit odd, as other reviews have said, to enter the restaurant to get to the hotel, but it's just the vestibule. The elevator is right there, so you never actually go into the restaurant. The parking lot seems sketchy, but they do monitor it, and our car was fine. We also had a child with us, and he didn't seem out of place. Over all, a pleasant, low-key experience.

Nothing but OK. I wouldn't return. On 2nd floor of Vietnamese restaurant. You set your own door security code. Big deal! Forgot to tell me you order breakfast the night before because there is no coffee at hotel. WT? Vietnamese restaurant excellent!

This is the fourth boutique hotel I have visited in the past seven months. V Boutique is an interesting little hotel in downtown Corpus Christi, and little means there are only eight rooms. It is located on the 2nd floor of a three story building. The first floor is the Vietnam Restaurant, and the third floor is a banquet room. All three are common ownership. The hotel is not luxurious, but it is not basic either. The room was clean and spacious, and the overall property seemed generally well maintained. However, it is an older building. There was a nice fitness room, which was a surprise for such a small hotel. The fully stocked mini bar was reasonably priced for a hotel. In the afternoon, they had fresh cookies for guest, which was a nice touch (again especially for a very small hotel). The staff seemed attentive and check-in was easy. If you are visiting downtown Corpus Christi, this is a great location. Plenty of free parking. It within walking distance to several restaurants, bars and the water front. Overall, it was a good experience and a decent value.

A unique experience...only 8 rooms in this truly boutique hotel, which occupies the second floor of a 3-story building in downtown Corpus. On the main floor is the Vietnam Restaurant, an elegant place with great food at modest prices. The V is quite modern and inviting. Room was just big enough, with a cloth bathrobe laid across the comfortable bed. Only improvement I can think of would be to add a floor lamp of some kind in the corner of the work space area.

While the building looks kinds shady from the outside, the hotel and room itself was nice. It's above a Vietnamese restaurant and looks abandoned when the restaurant is closed.

Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was nice and clean. Plush robe. Service was excellent. We finally found a hotel that we want to stay at every time we're in Corpus (we visit a lot). Definitely look forward to staying here again.
