"Special Service"

10.0

A wonderful property well located in Historic District. Easy walk to all amenities, restaurants, shops. Excellent staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Price included daily breakfast. I received a special champagne and chocolate drizzled strawberry gift for booking multiple rooms for my friends. Very lovely indeed although it was delivered to the wrong suite (I think it was the suite intended for me and my husband as it was a deluxe unit...only problem was when we arrived late at night the evening staff let us pick our own rooms...we picked another one not quite as nice) Staff were great at organizing a driver for us from Mexico City to Puebla and then again return. Be aware that when you pay for the driver, pay at the hotel...don't pay the driver like we did (only give him a tip if you wish) This caused a little confusion but was remedied quickly when the driver came back the next day with the money. Bring a sweater to wear when having breakfast. It is cold in the morning in Feb/March!

"I love this little hotel!"

10.0

What this hotel lacks in luxury it makes up in charm. It is almost like living in a museum. Be patient with the hot water. It takes time but will get there. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast included and the chicken soup is wonderful. My second stay there and hope it won't be my last.

"Once again, a dream vacation at Meson Sacristia De La Compania!"

10.0

This was our 3rd stay at Hotel Meson Sacristia de la Compania. We are totally "addicted" to this charming, romantic and beautiful boutique hotel that really feels like home!!! I could not even imagine staying anywhere else in Puebla! Staying at Meson Sacristia is like being in a movie-it is so beautiful and perfect! The service (as always) was absolutely impeccable! Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed with antiques, while having A/C , flat screen TV, Internet and all the modern amenities. Breakfast there is served in the beautiful patio, and it is served on real hand-painted Talavera plates. Colorful AND delicious! The hotel has provided a comfortable car and a driver to pick us up at our hotel in Mexico City and bring us to Puebla, as well as arranged car transfer back to Mexico City Airport. Special breakfast was served early in the morning for us before departure! Our sincere thanks to Hotel Manager, Mr. Edgar Desiga, who took such good care of us, for everything! Simply put, the service was absolutely EXTRAORDINARY! We cannot wait to come back!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

"Precious Gem in Centro Historico"

10.0

Absolutely lovely experience at this special boutique hotel! The room was breathtakingly furnished, the bed comfortable and many thoughtful touches added to make the stay perfect. The service was friendly and efficient, the breakfast delicious. The location rocks—two blocks from the Zocalo and on a classic street (Toad Alley.) I will definitely return.

"Pictures don't really do it justice "

10.0

Great location right off main points of interest. Pretty little street. Our room was gorgeous, old furnishings, nice sitting area. Rooms open up onto a shared, courtyard restaurant. Perfect for our needs. Like many hotels in Mexico, hot water is not consistent in shower. The courtyard is a well reviewed restaurant, open to the public. That is good and bad. Great music in the afternoon on the weekend when we were there. Loud late one night when we were headed off to sleep. I rated it a "4" for service, not for any bad reason but simply the lack of a "host" type feel like we have experienced in some of the best boutique type hotels. Staff was nice enough but it didn't feel as homey as some other places.

"Beautiful Hotel BUT"

6.0

The location is perfect and the decor is amazing. And the included breakfast is wonderful but I wouldn’t stay again largely because I didn’t have hot water for a shower. Additionally, checkin came with no basic information like check out times, when the front door locks and what to do if you aren’t back or a simple reminder that breakfast is included. It could be so much better.

"A Step into Mexico’s Past"

8.0

The staff is excellent. Bed was nice and room was clean. Hotel is close to great food, museums, the plaza - just a great location within walking distance of everything. Breakfast at the hotel was substandard everyday. The room was warm and the ceiling fan inadequate. Water pressure in the shower left a little to be desired also. This is a common problem in Puebla. Hotel is filled with Mexican antiques and culture.
